I love betta fish and I love Van Gogh's Starry Night, so I combined them! A brilliant betta fish swims through a swirling night sky while a tiny fairy fishes from a crescent moon above. I drew every single fin ray by hand with colored pencil — it took a very long time but I'm so happy with how it turned out.

Three Atlantic white-sided dolphins leap joyfully out of the ocean as the sun melts into the horizon in shades of gold, orange, and red. I wanted to capture that magical moment when the sky and sea almost look like they're on fire. The whales feel free and full of energy — like a symphony playing at the very end of the day.

Hermione Granger is one of my favorite characters — smart, brave, and always reading. I drew her in the Hogwarts library in her Gryffindor robes, with her fluffy orange cat Crookshanks sitting on top of an open book. I used colored pencils to get the warm tones of the bookshelves and Crookshanks's fur just right.

Two purple finches share a quiet moment on a branch, touching beaks as if whispering to each other. I surrounded them with layers of spring flowers, berries, and lush green leaves, mixing watercolor washes with colored pencil details. Finches visit our yard a lot and I wanted to show just how beautiful and gentle they are.

Inspired by Roald Dahl's story, this oil pastel painting shows a mother fox and her cub resting in a birch forest surrounded by wildflowers and butterflies. Mrs. Fox looks calm and wise, keeping a watchful eye on her little one. I loved using oil pastels for this piece because they made the fox's orange fur look so warm and rich.

A cozy little white cottage with a red roof nestles among fiery autumn trees beside a calm lake, with snowy mountains rising in the background. I used acrylic paint to capture how fall colors reflect in still water — the mirror image of the orange and yellow trees in the lake is my favorite part of this painting.

A stand of white birch trees glows with golden autumn leaves as the last light of day shimmers on a pond behind them. I painted this with acrylics, focusing on the beautiful contrast between the black-and-white birch bark and the explosion of yellow, orange, and green all around. I love birch trees — they always look a little magical to me.

A brilliantly colored hummingbird hovers mid-flight, dipping its long beak into a big red hibiscus flower against a swirling purple sky. I painted this with acrylics and tried to show the energy and speed of a hummingbird — they move so fast, it always amazes me that something so tiny can be so powerful.

A mallard drake takes flight at dusk over a wetland full of life — a duck and duckling swim below, deer graze at the water's edge, and birds fill the warm evening sky. I drew every feather with colored pencil, which took many hours, but I wanted the wing to look as detailed and real as possible. The wetland habitat reminds me how important it is to protect these places.

A vibrant jungle scene filled with animals living together in harmony — a scarlet macaw, a leopard resting on a branch, a green tree frog by a waterfall, a toucan, and a pink flamingo all share the same colorful world. I wanted to show that even fierce animals can coexist peacefully in nature. I used paint markers and watercolor to make the colors as bright and alive as a real rainforest.
